Music Day Camps

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department presents a series of Kate Taylor Music School Day Camps at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. Vocal instruction, guitar instruction, percussion, songwriting, performance technique, keyboard, music history, music appreciation and music theory will all be topics and skills taught at this year’s program.
A camp for children in grades 1-4 will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on June 14-18 with a performance for parents on Friday, June 18 at 12:30 p.m. The camp fee is $99, and the supply fee is $5. Students should bring a sack lunch each day, but snacks/drinks will be provided.
A camp for children in grades 5-12 will be held from 12:30-5 p.m. on July 12-16 with a performance for parents on Friday, July 16 at 4 p.m. The camp fee is $99, and the supply fee is $10. Students should eat before they come, but snacks/drinks will be provided.
The Longview Recreation Center, 2909 Commonwealth Drive in Spring Hill, is a public facility, here to benefit the community. Anyone, including out-of-county residents, can register for and participate in classes and events held at Longview, even if you don’t have a facility pass!
