SANTA TO VISIT CHRISTMAS CRAFT SHOW AT FAIRVIEW RECREATION COMPLEX


crying_santa500x708.jpgThe Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department invites you to the 13th annual Christmas Craft Show at the Fairview Recreation Complex, Saturday, December 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event is filled with holiday gift ideas for the whole family! Crafters will be on hand with wreaths, woodwork, paintings, jewelry, ornaments, furniture and seasonal items. Admission is free.

Santa Claus will arrive at 1:00 p.m. to greet the children and hand out Christmas goodies.

There is still limited booth space available for crafters. For more information, call Sarah Starkey at 799-9331. The Fairview Recreation Complex is located at 2714 Fairview Blvd.

dineout.jpgWilliamson County Parks and Rec’s Fairview Complex welcomes back a favorite event for parents and kids!  “Parent’s Night Out” is held on Saturday, July 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for kids ages 6-12.  Parents enjoy a night off while the kids feast on four hours of recreation fun including swimming, food and all kinds of games and activities.

Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Fairview Complex presents “DJ on the Deck’. Come see what the buzz is all about at the Fairview Pool and have a fun time with your family and friends.

WOMEN-ONLY DANCE CLASSES BEGIN IN FAIRVIEW

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Fairview complex welcomes two unique fitness classes for women and moms with babies in tow!  First, instructor Annie Stokes-Tyshkevych teaches “Boogie Babies” on Tuesdays, February 5th through 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for moms with little ones.  Using a sling or carrier, moms can exercise with simple dance movements set to modern music.  Babies of all attention spans and moms of all levels of fitness are welcome!  Cost is $40.00 for 4 weeks.

Then, Annie offers “Rhythm & Technique”, a ballroom and Latin dance class on Tuesdays, February 5th through 26th from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.  Fast-paced and focused on style, teen and adult participants can learn intricate movements and in-depth techniques that provide a great workout without feeling like it!  Cost is $40.00 per person for 4 weeks.
